Physical Device Testing

Use RocketSim with a connected iPhone or iPad for live previews, captures, app lifecycle actions, deep-link testing, location simulation, and time-zone testing.

RocketSim brings its fastest testing workflows to a connected physical iPhone or iPad. You can mirror the device beside Xcode, create screenshots and recordings, inspect recent builds, launch or relaunch apps, open deep links, and—with RocketSim 16.4 and Xcode 27—simulate locations on real hardware.

Physical-device streaming requires an iPhone or iPad connected to your Mac over USB. The device must be paired for development and visible to Xcode.

Recent Builds, app lifecycle actions, deep links, and location simulation depend on capabilities exposed by the selected Xcode installation. The newest physical-device actions require Xcode 27. RocketSim hides actions that the connected target or selected Xcode cannot perform.
